Actually I thought wrongly that as a viewer I can have expectations
Dhoom II had every modern aspect like style, fashion, technology but the core thing on which any movie stands “Substance” was missing. The movie successfully delivers a mixture of technology, thoughts and style of a hi-tech modern era cop-thief relations and way of working but eventually fails to deliver its own Dhoom. By saying Dhoom Dhoom in whole movie, doesn’t create a dhoom around. Dhoom was expected to show a content where in you show thefts that were impossible but made possible by using brain of the humans and beauty of the technology. Every theft scene starts beautifully in the movie but suddenly you realize that everything is going so smoothly that it is definitely going to happen this or that way. If robbery had to be great and virtually impossible then it had to be thrilling. Not just that you have some acid, which could tear the floor or the magnetic field gadgets which could allow you to run faster. Very first scene where Maharani appears, I shouted in the hall, arey! It seems to be Hrithik Roshan and the guy sitting next to me said What a Shitty imagination you have.
But taking a closer look on this scene one would find out where technology is lagging behind in Indian movies. Because they showed her a Real Maharani but Hrithik Roshan also arrives there in the disguise of Maharani to steal the Crown. More important and funny thing is that Real Maharani looked like Hrithik Roshan. Pretty Funny. So actually what they did while shooting is they make over Real Hrithiks face and presented as Maharani and then allowed Filmy Hrithik to rob the crown after using a mask of Maharani. Unbelievable discount to the technicians !!!....

Uday Chopra was as usual pathetic who could give you a bit reason to smile somewhere in movie and Abhishek Bachchan seemed to be a liability on the sequel of Dhoom.

For me, the whole movie was pretty predictable.

Coming to the climax, where Aishwarya shoots Hrithik and he dies after falling from a height, I thought what a shitty scene that they have shown. Getting upset, Abhishek leaves Aishwarya and doesn’t arrest her. And very next moment, six months get passed and Hrithik and Aish were shown bartending a bar with Abhishek claiming what a shitty scene they created when Aish shot Hrithik. And Abhishek also claims that he had identified that Hrithik and Aish were making fool of him but he was smarter to not to arrest Aishwarya in order to catch hold of Hrithik. WHAT A SHIT. What a drama you are showing, totally baseless. One can say that Director and Storywriter have just given thought to Style, Fashion and not the Story, Drama. And more to say about the end of the movie is, its typical Indian Film where love is always the winner. If Telgi, Masood Azhar or Bin Laden had their girl friend involved in their crime, Indian Law / Indian police would have acquitted them. There were many illogical sequences that were shown in the film
Entry of Bipasha as ACP who co-incidentally happens to be Abhishek’s batchmate and this point had no use in the story.

While chasing Aish and Hrithik, Bipasha gets her leg fractured and she has to stay back in India. Abhishek flies to Brazil alongwith Uday to find out Hrithik. But co-incidentally, Bipasha’s twin sister Monali had her residence in Brazil. So which means Bipasha is re-introduced in the movie with no significant use. Director could have brought Sonali to Brazil, why Monali, the twin sister ?
Moreover, I could not make out What the hell BIPS was doing in this movie. Producers ended up giving 30-35 Lakhs to Bips, what a great Loss!!!...I could not understand
the significance of giving a role to Bipasha in this movie or the character of Female ACP. Infact, Rimi sen was better who said at the start of the movie, see people, I am pregnant , I wont do anything in this movie. Kya bakwaas hain ?

I mean to say what’s the use of making a movie where you don’t have content to show.
Overall it was a disappointing movie and it is the worst sequel as compared to Phir Hera Pheri and Lage Raho. This movie would surely bring in a few awards for Choreography and Action but as a FILM, overall it’s a big failure.
Though it is a major Box Office hit of the year but it hardly matters for me.

Hrithik Medley

These Guys Rocked..!!!
An Awesome performance to watch...
A medley of 4 Hrithik Roshan songs, performed for Diwali 2003 at Cornell University.

Cricket Sourav Ganguly of India accusinf Mohammad Yousef of slowness

One of the favourite moments of cricket.

Ganguly accusing Yousef (aka Youhanna) of faking an injury which is going to cause a slow over rate. Why?

Due to his thoughts and way of working, Chappel while earning through playing cricket took some steps. He was earning a lot and was experimenting on a daily basis
He incurred heavy losses due to his investments hither and thither without managing his accounts and without thinking of future. He invested his present(then) without any vision and ruined his future. He invested huge section of his income into various plans

Thinking that in future the Today’s LOSSES would get converted into Future’s GOLD DUMP,WEALTH HEAPS Crazy old man!!.. Hehee..

And the same thing is being done with Indian Cricket Team. Why the hell he is experimenting a lot. He has almost ruined whole of The Indian team. He is experimenting for Future Team who will play world cup. Arey but when?

What will be our teams confidence level after losing a series of Tournaments.
What will be our players confidence and rhythm when they wouldn’t have played a single complete tournament.
What will be the support from the audience and experts when you are losing in every match, every tournament.

How will many PRESENT failures would build up your FUTURE SUCCESS.

Arey! this Chappel has already implemented Divide and Rule yaar. Guys Come On! Indian Senior Players and BCCI
Wake Up guys Wake up.
What if Somehow Ganguly comes in team now and what would be a relation between Dravid and Sourav, Sourav and Sehwag.

I don’t understand why Indians are mute and just digesting defeat after defeat. The only one sport in which we are hoping from our
National Team is also going away from our hearts. Its time to wake up for BCCI and Indian Squad before we lose all hopes of survival in WC.

Umpires decision is Final: One statement and everything is over

Umpires decision is Final: One statement and everything is over

Yet another unprecedented event in cricket history that for the first time in 130 years of cricket, a test match resulted with team losing because of forfeiting and that too because its integrity and honesty was questioned. DISGUSTING!!

Daryl Hair had no right to question any individual, any team's honesty and accusing of tampering the ball WITH NO CLEAR EVIDENCE.

Daryl Hair once again was making a harsh decision against someone in an elite player group and in fact someone belonging to sub continent. The worst part is ICC has just one statement to say every time “Umpires decision is Final”. Giving extra liberty to Umpires and that too without the fear of any chance of getting penalized has brought defame to the game several a times.

Controversial decision of Ball Tampering on Sachin and video footage clearly showed that he was removing mud from the ball. Baseless argument on Rahul Dravids ball tampering and stating it a deliberate scuffing using the cough are such examples which not only bring frustration to these high ranked players in fact hurts the game.

And according to Nasser Hussain , Ramiz Raza (the live commentators) it was pretty unfair on Hair’s side that he accused Pakistani team without any strong evidence and moreover most probable case is Inzamam will be penalized and will be suspended for a match or two.

Similar kind of arguments were seen when Ganguly was suspended for 6 matches and where we could see lack of Team spirit in Indian team where none of the players stood by their own captain which ultimately became first nail in Ganguly’s career coffin.

But Inzamam is lucky enough to have PCB Board, Coach , Team and President Musharraf on his side to look after things and stand by him for any coming problem or I must say any danger to his career.

In my opinion, Inzy took right step and decided to not to field any more because his honesty was being tested and hence directly Country’s ethins, values , moral was being questioned.

************ICC SUCKS !! *******************

Species Extinct : Graveyard of Bowlers ---- A stand on Twenty20

Species Extinct : Graveyard of Bowlers ---- A stand on Twenty20

Soon there will be one more names added to the extinct species list and that would be no one else “Bowler” in cricket. And this how an updated encyclopedia would describe it

Common Name: Bowler
Scientific Name: Bowler
Types: Fast, Fast Medium, Off-Break, Leg Break, etc
Alignment: Left hand, Right hand.

Short Description: This extinct species survived over a long period of 200 years. These types of species used to live in the ages of great people like Vinoo Mankad, Don Bradman, Sir Viv Richards, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, Brian Lara, Inzamam-Ul-Haq, Sourav Ganguly and Sachin tendulkar and many others. Extinction of bowlers started long back but it started reflecting when a shorter version of Cricket game, “Twenty20” was accepted as a world sport. On one side there were teams who were building up their good and strong bowling line including fast and furious pacers, tricky spinners and irritating medium pacers, and on other side many Leading cricketing nations accepted this form of cricket called Twenty20 as another form of game. This satisfied their greed but ultimately forced next generation to become a batsman rather than a bowler who runs 20-30 yards and tries to bowl a ball with 140-150kph and which ultimately results into a four or a six. Extinction is the outcome of pressure bowlers faced in every change that was made in cricket rules. Every time the sake of batsman was considered and as usual bowlers were sidelined. Twenty20 was introduced with all rules favoring batsman. This form of cricket undoubtedly hampered batting skills too because one who is a good striker of ball could only last long in this scene of cricket and rest all lived miserably ever after. Sudden need of hammering batsman like Symonds, Hussey, Pietersen, Flintoff, Gayle, Afridi, Dhoni, Sehwag, Klusener rose and every youngster started drinking loads and loads of milk and of course must be involved in some illegal practices like of enjoying steroids to stimulate the senses.
The techniques like of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid got caught in history books of crickets, on web pages, Biographies and Autobiographies and certainly in Gallery Compound of every International Cricket Ground. Or in short they were a story and nothing more. First official game of Twenty20 game was played between Australia and New Zealand in 2003 in Auckland.
This form of game was introduced because the county cricket matches that were played between local teams of UK were failing to attract audience and which ultimately was resulting into a great loss financially. Hardly 10% of the stadium was occupied during these matches and the organizers had to bear the losses. So England being a dominating country in world’s economic affairs as well as in Cricket proposed their witty marketing strategy and tried everything to get thing done in their favor.
Twenty20 involved thrill, entertainment, high scoring games and shorter version allowed organizers to conduct two matches a day with same work load and hence it satisfied most of the people who are related to cricket except one important aspect of game “Bowlers” which are no more a part of game. Now a day a cricket team of eleven involves body builders who can hammer a ball very hard and be capable of hitting sixes and fours all around the ground, field a bit, run very fast and know how to bowl a ball limiting him with in the boundaries of bowling rules, like of < 15% deflection.

Life wants to Halt, but then who said no!!

Yesterday was one of the amazing day which once again pulled me back to ponder upon what I gained and what I lost by moving in life. Actually an evening with a friend Nisha and her memories with other friends tempted me to post these emotional lines. I don’t know people would be able to relate themselves with these lines or not but I guess who wont be able to do so are unlucky that they did not enjoyed a life of hostel, life of college, life of wars and victories, life of love and clashes, life of hope and achievements.

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out ‘cos we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now ‘cos you don't have another day

I could understand the real meaning of these lines from the famous “Graduation Song” only after I left institute or I should say I left behind “Best days of my life”. This was a mystery that “what would happen once we leave college forever”. Last fifteen days of college, I remember now, was like something was coming towards us, like a silent death, with a filmy sound beat, silly but true and which was going to put an end to our life forever. And that’s what really happened with some of us. After six months in corporate world, which I am not able to admire yet, I feel life at college was the best and I want to go back there as soon as possible. And this has to do nothing with the kind of work I am doing or the work culture at my firm. It’s all due to few great moments spent in DA-IICT. The toughest lessons of my life that I learnt there, not just as a student but as a person, that really moved my mind and soul is that we have to move on and on. Everyone has to keep moving on, no matter who is with you and where you are. And that’s the rule, which bring two outcomes- “Happiness” and “Sadness”; which lead to two more aspects- “desire”, and “fulfillment of desire”. And this desire is the only reason, which tempts you to keep searching for happiness or for a ray of hope.
Many amongst us including me were searching for this ray of hope, few moments to spend again in a place that I called heaven. Then a day came when our convocation dates were decided and I was bouncing like a crazy ball in the cubicle of my office. Because I knew that it was going to be the perfect gift for my emotions and me. The day arrived, we reached Gandhinagar, but the one step back in college, was like entering heaven with an aura of eternal bliss created there. It was like, “One small step for me, and a giant leap for my emotions”. Every corner, every small gully of the institute I visited and it was like sailing through my dreams. One would say it is madness and say merely immature nature but helplessly, that’s the fact. What I was trying to pick was, as many moments as possible in given frame of time of two days. Yes, that’s madness, that’s real desire to sail forever in ship called DA-IICT.
After DA-IICT, I experienced the life what people call a REAL LIFE. And I am sure no one would love to carry this life. One of my colleagues at Reliance discussed with me the memories back at DAIICT and quoted them with a few lines of a song portrays DA-IICT as my world, my country, as my Swades and write the following lines

“ Mitti ki jo khushboo hain tu kaise bhulaayega,
tu chahe nahi aaye, tu laut ke aayega.
Dabi dabi aaho mein nayi nayi raahon mein
Khoye khoye dil se tere koi yeh kahegaa
Ye jo des hain tera, swades hain tera, tujhe hain pukaara”

Silly, you might say; but really true! One can easily associate with this experience narrated by him.

“Its 8 a.m. in the morning. I am still on my bed, half asleep; I reach out for my roomie’s hand, so that I can kick him and tell him to attend the morning lecture, as I don’t want to. But all I get is an empty bed beside me. I look around; it’s not my room!!! Where am I??? I pinched my self and then realize, it’s not only my room that has changed, its an entire new world. I don’t like it, I cannot fight it. But truth is truth. I am part of the corporate world full of “professionalism”. Gone are the days when we used to sit in the food court, bunk classes, and go to movies, when every face carried a genuine smile for me. Now I look around to find people running, trying to cope up with the fast life. Suddenly I am not a collegian but a real, responsible man. Responsible, for not only my life but so many others’. Now it’s I who gets money home; gone are the days when I used to bug daddy for more & more money. But what can’t be changed is me, in a sense, which is, that part which still longs for college, which still wants to crack stupid jokes, laugh out on sillythings, wants to sleep in lectures.”

This is the behavior, which this corporate world is hammering daily and I guess every moment. Certainly I feel at times why this behavior, this world needs a change. When we are mature enough to create our own world in some place, and leading on a long straight road there is suddenly a huge turn is waiting for us. Why? And the biggest why: “Why can’t anybody oppose this?” One has to undergo this transformation. Would we think about tomorrow like we think about now? And what will happen after a few years. For these never ending thoughts, again the graduation song forces you to think about the time to fly.

Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round?
Will these memories fade when I leave this town
I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

I guess the readers won’t be able to appreciate this concept of a small world and the family within this world until they see the fast moving world outside the heaven’s gates. In places like Bangalore and Mumbai, where no one cares for you, every bookshop, every bank and ATM with long queues, and people at local stations moving like robots and machines. No one has time for you and you have hardly any time for yourself. One wakes up, eats, travels, works, travels back, eats again and goes to sleep. Such a monotonous life is waiting for you all enjoying the heaven in DA-IICT.
A poem that I used to mug up in my school, as a kid, for my tests is now becoming the biggest truth of my life. These are the lines written by W M Davies

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Nothing much to reveal now, as sometimes it becomes painful when you yourself try to stitch your own wounds. But one has to do it, and has to do it as part of your breath, and live with this truth just as truth like day and night, moon and stars.
Nostalgic Abhishek

Death of Constitution - Political Parties and their Ideologies – A stand on BJP

Death of Constitution - Political Parties and their Ideologies – A stand on BJP

Infamous comment on Rahul Mahanjan’s drug abuse case by the Ex-Prime Minister of Largest Democracy Atal Bihari Vajpayee has yet again proved that BJP and its ideologies based on RSS are going no where.

And on the other side L K Advani who could not face his own party’s agitation on his comment on Jinnah. These two great leaders proved how they must be propagating the party’s principles and teaching them the lessons of their experience. Commenting on Rahul’s drug abuse case with no sign of reluctance or repentance proves that there is nothing wrong with Kashmiri Youth indulged in their movement called Jehad. But why did not he allow those people to carry on their movement against India or Pakistan.
Why the youth there are arrested or legally murdered. Yes, I won’t say that they were encountered, the correct words are “legally murdered, so called Legal, of course”.
Its pretty shameful on someone who was amongst the highest rank in Government of India and making such Useless / misguiding statements where SOME PART OF PRIVILEDGED CLASS are given license to use drugs and don’t even bother about punishments. So this how I consider that Law and Order are on stake. This largest democracy should forget about any “Right to Equality” and I suppose this is one of the nails/bullets initiating MURDER OF DEMOCRACY.

On one side students protesting against Reservations are given a bad treatment using Water Wagons and Lathi-Charge and on other side these irresponsible comments from Ex-PM seems to be dubious.

Why youth like Salman Khan and Fardeen Khan are accused of killing black buck and narcotics use respectively ? Right to Equality is no More!!.

Rang De Basanti : A Bollywood success or Conceptual Failure

Rang De Basanti : A Bollywood success or Conceptual Failure
Ask me Why I wrote this :
Yet another thrilling work of art by an Indian director but yet again credited for wrong notions.
A youth awakened seems to be a fake concept as the movie is not depicting any Indian Youth of present times.
Probably, RDB assures of showing one what he wants to be but not the truth, not a true man inside us, not the character which we are living.
RDB succeeds in providing youngsters with some fiery stuff which can lit their seats and go around yelling for their rights and truth but the question
Arises, is it successful in portraying its punch line of “A generation awakened”? The story itself deviates from its so called unique selling point of
attracting youngsters with its enchanting statement of awakening Generation Next. There are very few people and especially in youngsters who are careless about their future.
They can roam around on a jeep with some carefree friends at the back seats, opening bottles and bottles of bear together, lighting cigarettes and don’t give
a damn to their future, studies, career or goal. No doubt, character of this sort justifies Karan Singhania, as he was son of one of the richest man in India and who will
surely flew to US after his graduation. But what about son of a Dhaba Owner, Daljeet Singh, what about Aslam, a guy coming from lower middle class Muslim family.
What about Sukhi who is uncertain about his future but still enjoying his life like a millionaire? But the reality is not what they showed. 99% of Middle class youth are searching for jobs, good opportunities, keeping eyes on opportunities which can took them to abroad, which ultimately asks its own rebel to die down and work for his/her own sake. Had 99% of youth this privilege of taking a young blonde babe at the back seat of jeep with few friends holding crates of beer and killing minister of ranks like Defense minister, the scene of every country would have been something different. Portraying and pursuing and realizing the pursued is altogether different concept and which is violated by RDB. No doubt, it’s a good film at box office, good direction, good vision, good music and appreciable exploitation of loop holes in Media and Politics. They have used brushes like patriotism, media, politics, law and order, and history beautifully to carve out an appreciable piece of art but “Was Rakeysh Mehra successful in portraying a film which can really say that This Generation has something to speak now”? Today people might be roaring loudly for their rights and yelling against Reservations and who knows Arjun Singh might be at the gun point of few students but this extreme reaction is acceptable? On one hand the story is itself fascinating and thought provoking but it dies because it weaves a web of subject around itself and ultimately fails in proving the subject of Awakening Generation without involving actual Generation. And when subject fails in proving its basis, it’s a failure although it might be an all round success on some big screen or some nasty, unrealistic concept in moving masses.

I am an ordinary man!!

I am an ordinary man!!

I dont know whether its worth to write such lines in very first BLOG.
I was confused what to mention in this first attempt of making myself available on internet.
